Today the Parliament meets in plenary session, what is expected to be discussed/

The Speaker of the Parliament of Albania, Elisa Spiropali, has ordered the plenary session of the parliament to convene today at 10:00.

The agenda includes the discussion and approval of a number of draft laws and normative acts that affect various areas, from the ratification of international agreements to legal changes for the budget and personal documentation.

But beyond the items foreseen in today's agenda, the Opposition representatives in the Assembly are expected to bring to attention the problems encountered in the May 11 parliamentary elections, where they accuse the majority of stealing Albanian votes through criminal gangs.

The main agenda items are:

-Approval of the minutes of the previous session, dated May 29, 2025.

-Ratification of the agreement on the law of the sea under the United Nations Convention on the Conservation and Use of Marine Biological Diversity Beyond National Jurisdiction.

-Approval of amendments to the 2025 budget law.

-Addendum to the law on providing Albanian citizens with passports.

-Addendum to the law on electronic identity cards.

-Ratification of the security cooperation agreement between Albania and Ukraine.

-Accession to the Convention Establishing the European Communications Office (ECO).

-Ratification of the loan agreement with the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development.

-Agreement on participation in the European Union program "Customs".

-Ratification of the guarantee agreement with the EBRD for the OSHEE project.

-Ratification of financing agreements with the European Commission for multiannual programs in the field of employment, digital economy and energy for the period 2024-2027.

-Discussions on issues outside the agenda.
