A safe was robbed, two people were arrested in Tirana

Tirana Police have arrested 2 people, A. Xh, 40 years old, and L. Gj, 38 years old, after they stole a safe containing 15,000 euros from a house.

Meanwhile, the police report that one of the arrested was currently under house arrest for the same offense.

" The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 2, in cooperation with the Vlora Local Police Directorate, after a citizen reported that a safe containing a large amount of money had been stolen from his apartment, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Reaction" to solve the case.

As a result of the operation, the following citizens were identified, arrested and put in handcuffs:
A. Xh., 40 years old and L. Gj., 38 years old, both residents of Vlora, previously convicted of theft. The verifications showed that citizen A. Xh. was under the security measure "House Arrest", for the criminal offense "Theft".

From the investigations carried out during the operation, it is suspected that these citizens, on 02.06.2025, stole a safe with 15,000 euros, in an apartment on "Muhamet Gjollesha " street, the police announced.
