Murder of Ermir Dedja, two people arrested, smuggled the vehicle used by the

Two people have been arrested for involvement in the murder of Ermir Dedja in Durrës. The arrested persons smuggled the vehicle in which the perpetrators of the incident were traveling.

EN, 36 years old, and KB, 35 years old, were arrested.

"Following the in-depth actions carried out by the investigative group, under the direction of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office, with the aim of clarifying the authorship and circumstances of the murder of citizen ED, 2 weeks ago, in neighborhood no. 18, in Durrës, based on the evidence obtained from the investigation:

-citizens EN, 36 years old, resident of the village of Shkallnur, and KB, 35 years old, resident of Durres, were arrested for the criminal offense of "Smuggling of other goods"; 

- citizen Xh. D., 33 years old, resident of Durrës, was declared wanted for the criminal offenses "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder" and "Smuggling of other goods". 

The investigations show that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, smuggled into Albania 2 "Seat" type vehicles, one of which was sold and then used during the murder of citizen ED.  

Police services have made it possible to find and seize, as material evidence, another "Seat" vehicle, which was smuggled with the intention of being used for another criminal event. 

As part of the investigation, 2 days after the incident, the Police identified and declared wanted the Albanian citizen EN, 44 years old, resident of the village of Rrashbull, and the Moroccan citizen MD, 46 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder" and "Trafficking in motor vehicles".  

The 3 citizens declared wanted are abroad. Work continues in cooperation with partners to locate and capture them. 

"In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, intensive actions are continuing for the full legal documentation of this event and the arrest of the suspected perpetrators ," the police announced.
