EPP accepts Berisha's request: A fact-finding mission will be sent to

The European People's Party (EPP) has decided to include Albania in its agenda for verification missions. The decision came after the request of the President of the DP, Sali Berisha, who asked for the help of the EPP and sister parties during his speech at the EPP political assembly in Brussels to send a fact-finding mission to our country.

The EPP Secretary General, Dolors Montserrat, stated: “ We decided to do two missions, one in Lebanon and one in Moldova, but now we will also prioritize Albania. I think it is a good idea when you ask us for something, so we will set it as one of our priorities and objectives to do a mission in Albania.”

In his speech, Berisha officially requested that the EPP and its sister parties engage in sending a fact-finding mission to Albania. Berisha stressed that this mission is of great importance for Albania and Europe: “Albania is a major exporter of crime, drugs and immigrants.
“This mission would be of great value to everyone,” Berisha declared, among other things.
