Before the start of the session, which is scheduled to begin at 1:20 PM, Liridona's brother, Leonard Ademaj, reacted.

He wished that the trial would end quickly, while emphasizing that the pain increases every day.

"Today at 1:20 p.m. the trial for the murder of our Liridona continues. We invite the media to follow the session. Our pain is increasing and we find no comfort every time we think about and see how two young children are growing up without their mother. We hope that the trial will end soon," wrote Leonard Ademaj.

Liridona Ademaj was killed on the evening of November 29, 2023, at the entrance to the village of Bërrnicë, Pristina, while returning to her home with her husband and two children. She was shot in the neck.

Accused of murdering the 30-year-old are her ex-husband Naim Murseli, Granit Plava, Kreshnik Kokalla, and Tom Dodaj.

The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina on January 15, 2025 filed an indictment against the above-mentioned individuals.

According to the indictment, Murseli, Plava and Kokalla had previously agreed that the murder would be carried out by the accused Plava with an agreement that Murseli would pay him 30 thousand euros.
