The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has given a press statement from Brussels, regarding the report approved by the European Parliament.

Berisha told the media that Edi Rama's regime is a regime that does not respect the law and tramples on human rights.

The Chief Democrat emphasized that the approved report denounces the May 11 electoral farce.

"I think that the report that was just approved in the EPP Foreign Affairs Committee crystal clearly branded Edi Rama's regime as a regime that does not respect the rule of law.

As a regime that tramples on fundamental rights, it intervened in the justice system. Great concern was expressed about the large stock of files, which implies a lack of due process for citizens.

"The report denounced the electoral farce of May 11, as it quotes the introductions of the joint report of the OSCE, the EP, the Council of Europe and the OSCE Assembly ," he said.
