The match between Albania and Serbia, valid for Group K of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, has created extraordinary interest. The Albanian national team will face Serbia on Saturday, June 7, at 20:45 at the “National Arena”, while requests for tickets have exceeded the record figure of 200 thousand applications – against only 22 thousand seats in the stadium.

Meanwhile, on platforms like “viagogo.com”, tickets have already gone up for resale at prices ranging from 180 to 1500 euros, depending on the sector. Two tickets in the VIP sector W104 are currently on sale for 1500 euros each. This refutes the FSHF’s argument about personalized and named tickets, as it appears that many of them have been easily resold online.

Unlike previous practices, the Albanian Football Federation this time decided to open a public application and then select the winners through a “random” electronic draw. But this formula has caused chaos, forcing the FSHF to postpone the selection process, which ends on June 4, by two days.

Meanwhile, fans and citizens who were unable to secure tickets through the official channel are disappointed and forced to turn to resale sites, where prices are beyond the reach of most.
