PL President Ilir Meta has reacted with a note on his Facebook page after the opposition's accusations regarding the disappearance of 130,000 ballots.

Meta writes that the 130,000 "lost" ballots are like the 130 million euros "evaporated" from the non-existent Tirana incinerator.

No responsibility, no transparency.

They stole 130 million euros for an incinerator they never built — now they're also destroying 130,000 ballots, as if they were waste for burning.

In this country where not only trash is burned but also votes are "burned", then democracy, the rule of law, and the future of the country have burned along with it.

This electoral terrorism can never be accepted!
