A person was shot dead this afternoon in Has. 

According to preliminary information, the victim was 34-year-old Rushit Callahu, while the perpetrator, Ylber Jaku, was arrested by the police.

It is learned that the incident was caused by a previous conflict.

"Around 16:40, a report was received that in the village of Pla, citizen YJ, 41 years old, is suspected of having shot and killed citizen RS, 34 years old, suspected of property motives.

Police services immediately went to the scene, and in support of the local police, the Special Forces of the Kukes DVP went.


As a result of quick police action, the suspected perpetrator was captured and arrested.

The firearm suspected of being used by the perpetrator was found and seized at the scene.

"Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to fully document the event," the police announced.
