A serious accident occurred this afternoon on the Fier-Lushnjë road, in the place known as "Vajkan", where a truck and an ambulance that was transporting a patient from the Vlora Psychiatric Hospital to his apartment collided.
According to the official Police announcement, at around 2:50 p.m., a truck-type vehicle, driven by citizen IS, collided with the ambulance driven by JT.
As a result of the collision, patient GZ, 38 years old, and the people accompanying him were injured: EZ, 74 years old, the patient's father, HB, 54 years old, a police officer at the Skrapar Police Station, and TM, a nurse from Çorovoda.
The injured have been transported to the hospital and are under the care of doctors, out of danger to their lives.
The investigation team has arrived at the scene, working to fully clarify the circumstances and determine the causes of the accident.
