The validity period of identity documents that expire until May 11 has been extended.
The decision was approved today by the Council of Ministers.
The validity period of identification means, electronic ID cards and biometric passports that expire on May 11, 2025 - is extended until May 31, 2025.
The opposition repeatedly requested that the deadline be extended to allow all citizens to exercise their right to vote on May 11.
