A dose of cocaine was found on him, the candidate for MP in Saranda was arrested

Saranda Police today arrested citizen Ergys Isufi, a candidate for deputy in the May 11 parliamentary elections under the slogan of the coalition "Albania Initiative", after he was caught with a dose of narcotics suspected to be cocaine.

According to media sources, Isufi initially tried to escape the arrest by running away, but was neutralized in time by police officers. After the arrest, a search was also conducted at his apartment, while details about the results of this search have not yet been provided.

So far, there has been no official announcement from the Saranda Police about the incident, while a reaction is also expected from the political entity where the detainee is running.
