Trump is protecting American Jews more than any Democrat leader

Here is a major dilemma facing the deeply divided Democratic Party.

They call Donald Trump Hitler, yet Donald Trump is doing more to protect American Jews than all the leaders of the Democrat Party combined.

In fact, progressive Democrats display more sympathy and support for criminal illegal immigrants and pro-Hamas rioters than they do for American-born Jews who are under duress at the country’s major colleges.

Nowhere is that quandary more apparent than in the much-heralded speech last Monday by Massachusetts Senate President Karen Spilka, who compared President Trump’s criminal illegal immigrant deportation policy to what Hitler did to the Jews in Germany in the 1930’s.

And that was to round up and exterminate some six million Jews.

“As someone who lost family members in the Holocaust, I do not say this lightly,” Spilka said. “But what we are experiencing in America today is starting to feel like Europe in the 1930s — and it is not just terrifying, it is enraging.”

While Spilka, unlike some other Democrat leaders, did not outrightly compare Trump to Hitler by name — or even mention Hitler — it was clear that it was her meaning. Because like Hitler and the Nazis, Trump was “kidnapping” people (illegal criminal immigrants) off the streets the way the Nazis did to the Jews.

One obvious difference is that the Jews were not criminals, but innocent law-abiding German citizens and others who were caught up in Hitler’s deranged master race delusions and sent to death in gas chambers.

The illegal immigrants Trump is deporting are murderers, child rapists, gangbangers, drug dealers, child sex traffickers and other assorted criminals that hapless Joe Biden let into the country.

Spilka, without once mentioning Jews by name, nevertheless strongly implied that Trump was treating recently detained or deported student visa holders or immigrant gangbangers the way Hitler treated the Jews.

She had in mind Rumeysa Ozturk, the 30-year-old Turkish citizen at Tufts University who was “kidnapped” by ICE agents after her visa was revoked, Juan Francisco Mendez of New Bedford who had his car window “violently smashed” (he wouldn’t open the door), Kseniia Petrova, a Russia citizen studying at Harvard and Kilman Abrego Garcia, the MS-13 gangbanger who was deported to El Salvador.

None of them so far has been sent to any gas chamber.

She said it was “outrageous” that Trump could be so “callous” about Garcia losing “the rights of a man who has lost his freedom” over an administrative error.

The American people, according to Spilka, are facing “a capricious, vengeful and cruel administration that has co-opted federal law enforcement agents and openly defied the courts — the exact opposite of the law and order that Trump and his supporters have proclaimed to care about so much.

“But I will be damned if I am going to stay silent a bout what is happening in this country,” she said in her Senate speech. “And I hope all of you will join me in pointing out the fundamental anti-democratic and anti-American actions of this presidency.”

The only thing Spilka seems to be silent about is the blatant anti-discrimination against the Jews under her very nose at Harvard, which is just across the Charles River from the State House, as well as at other colleges.

What is happening to Jewish students at Harvard is more akin to what the Nazis did to Jewish university students during Hitler’s assumption of power in the 1930s than anything remotely compared to Trump sending criminal illegal immigrants back to the countries they came from.

It began with Jewish students at German universities being barred from attending classes by Nazi thugs, like they are at Harvard and other universities today by pro-Hamas, antisemitic thugs. It ended with the Jews being sent to Nazi concentration camps and murdered.

Trump is withholding $2 billion in taxpayer funds from Harvard until it cleans up its act and begins protecting Jewish students from pro-Hamas threats, harassment and discrimination.

Spilka could have talked about that, but she didn’t. To do so would give credit to Trump, even though he is the country’s champion in the fight against discrimination against American Jews.
