New details emerge in Has murder, perpetrator executed young man after violence

New details have emerged from the shocking murder that occurred in the village of Plan in Has, where 26-year-old Rushit Sallahu was killed. The incident, which has shocked public opinion, is the result of a long-standing conflict between two families, Jaku and Sallahu, over property issues.

According to sources from the investigative group, the Jaku family had filed over 20 reports over the years regarding clashes with the Sallahu family. The reports were made mainly by the perpetrator's father, Ylber Jaku, who had asked the authorities for help in resolving the escalating conflict, but the institutions have not intervened effectively.

The tragedy culminated after an act of violence that occurred a few days ago. Artjola Sallahu, 21 years old, the victim's sister, physically assaulted both of the perpetrator's parents, who were subsequently hospitalized at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana. Ylber Jaku's mother suffered a fractured pelvis, while his father is also in serious condition. Artjola Sallahu has been arrested and is in custody.

Meanwhile, today, the perpetrator of the incident, Ylber Jaku, 41 years old, visited his parents in the hospital and, shocked by their condition, went to the village of Plan, where he executed Rushit Sallahu, the brother of the girl who raped the elderly, with a firearm.

The police have launched investigations to fully uncover the incident, while the perpetrator is expected to appear in court to face charges of murder for revenge motives.
