Victory in Europe Day/ US Embassy: Allies to take responsibility and fully

On the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, the US Embassy in Tirana has a message for all allied countries.

Through a post on the social network Facebook, the US embassy calls on allied countries to take responsibility and fully commit to their security.

As we honor the lives of over a million Americans who served heroically to bring peace, now, on the 80th anniversary of VE Day, our message to Allies and partners is clear: they must take responsibility and fully commit to their own security.”
