Meanwhile, the Kosovo government has decided to join the search by sending a contingent for the humanitarian search and rescue operation, to the place called "Qafën e Burrelit", Klos Municipality.

The news was announced by the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, through social networks, according to whom Kosovo is always in support and encouragement of Albania.

" Through an electronic meeting held today, we adopted the decision to approve the request of the Ministry of Defense to send a contingent of the KSF to a humanitarian operation in the Republic of Albania.
By the decision of this 259th meeting of the Government, the Ministry of Defense is prepared to support Albania with a contingent, respectively for the humanitarian search and rescue operation, in the place called "Qafën e Burrelit", Klos Municipality, where in recent days a massive landslide has occurred in the premises of the chrome processing factory.
As a result of this event, the soil has covered an employee of the company that operates in the exploitation of minerals in this area.
Kosovo is always in support and encouragement of Albania and in this case in assisting the authorities in this operation. Together, next to each other, with the hope for good news from the scene ," Kurti writes.

On Saturday, May 3, 29-year-old Ardit Beshiri was working with an excavator in the stock of a chrome processing factory, which in recent months was being used by a Chinese company. Under still unclear circumstances, the reservoir burst and, due to the flood of water and inert materials, the young man was swept away by the current along with his vehicle.
