Berisha congratulates the newly elected Pope: Let us wish him the greatest

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during the final electoral meeting in Shkodra of the DP-ASHM, expressed his warmest congratulations to the newly elected Pope, wishing him success in his divine mission as the leader of billions of Catholics in the world. Berisha emphasized the importance of the historical ties and early friendship between the Albanian lands and the Vatican, while greeting and honoring the citizens of Shkodra and Albanians wherever they are.

Berisha : Dear citizens of Shkodra, my warmest greetings to you in this square, in this fantastic gathering, to the citizens of Shkodra wherever they are from Shala, Dukagjini to Torovicë, to Fierzë and to Velipojë.
The greatest respect to all of you.
But today, while we are gathered here on the eve of our magnificent victory, hundreds of thousands of Albanians from all over the world are awaiting the name of his holiness, the newly elected Pope.
Let us wish him the greatest successes in his divine mission, the leadership of billions of Catholics in Europe and in the world.
