"Giro d'Italia 2025" tomorrow in Vlora/ Police announce traffic

In preparation for the third, and last, phase of the international race "Giro d'Italia 2025" in the city of Vlora, the Vlora Police have announced a series of traffic restrictions and parking bans in several key areas of the city.

Main Limitations:

Grand Square (beginning of the Lungomare):
• Prohibition of parking and activities in the square, from 15:00 and 10.05 to 18:00 and 11.05 (disc area included).
"Shaban Demiraj" street and the corresponding road:
• Parking ban on the intersection axis marked with a traffic ban from 05:00 and 10.05 to 15:00, followed by non-movement of vehicles from 07:00 – 14:15 to 11.05. Traffic will be diverted to "Pelivan Leskaj" street.
The area in front of the Marine School and "Reshat Osmani" street:
• Parking in front of the Marine School is prohibited from 15:00 and 10.05 to 17:00 and 11.05.
• Parking ban on "Reshat Osmani" street from 15:00 and 10.05 to 18:00 and 11.05.
"Veledin Kollozi" Street:
• Parking ban until 23:00 and 11.05, with traffic ban from 19:00 and 10.05 to 23:00 and 11.05. Traffic will be diverted to the Boulevard and "Gjergj Kastrioti" street.
Area of the axis "Skela Circle – Alexandria Street Intersection":
• Parking and traffic ban until 23:00 and 11.05, with traffic diversion on "Kosova" and "Perlat Rexhepi" streets.
"Hajredin Haxhiraj" street and related connections:
• Parking ban at the intersection segment "Onufri – Boulevard" from 22:00 and 10.05 to 23:00 and 11.05.
• From 05:00 and 11.05 to 23:00, traffic is prohibited in the same segment, with a detour on "Pilo Begaj" and "Fiqirete Musta" streets.
Other local bans:
• Parking restrictions on "Veledin Kollozi" (Big Market – Alsa segment), "Mustafa Bello" and "Laze Malo" streets from 20:00 and 10.05 to 23:00 and 11.05.
• Blocking of the road axis "Aleksandër Moisiu" – "Ismail Qemali" Boulevard – "Demokracia" Street – "Arben Zylyftari" Street from 05:00 to 10:00 of 11.05, with a diversion to "Pilo Begaj" and "Fiqirete Musta" streets.
• Parking and traffic ban on the segment of "Kosova" street to the Regina Garden Hotel and in "Ismail Qemali" Square, starting from 14:00 and 10.05 to 23:00 and 11.05.
• Restrictions on "Sulejman Delvina" street (Polyclinic segment – Military Branch) and on the territory of the Faculty of Humanities.
Access for emergencies:

The circulation of emergency vehicles and the State Police is allowed at any time.
The port of Vlora will have uninterrupted traffic through the Trans-Balkan route.
For the Vlora Regional Hospital, access will be guaranteed during the hours of 11:00 – 13:30 through several dedicated axes.
Interurban blockages:
On 11.05.2025, traffic will be prohibited at some interurban accesses between Vlora, Qeparo and Himara, according to the established schedules.
