Artan Hoxha: One person was taken hostage for political conflict! SPAK failed

Journalist Artan Hoxha said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the impact of crime on the elections has continued during the last process, but it happens in a camouflaged way and the effect is felt after the elections.

According to him, SPAK failed to fulfill the mission it claimed regarding the prevention of electoral crimes and actions like yesterday's one in Shkodra are only for media shows.

Hoxha told the case of a representative of a political force being taken hostage by members of another force in the middle of the day, which, as he said, has not been made public.

"An opposition supporter was taken hostage by the people of a majority candidate, was taken hostage in city X, is filmed, and was released on the Nation's Road. They put it in the trunk and took it there because according to their accounts, this man was ruining his job with the campaign he was doing. And as far as I know, the release of the hostage was also done with the intervention of the police, even senior police officers and responsible persons have not been arrested. This event is a fresh event", said Hoxha.
