Three police officers in Tirana under investigation for arbitrary actions

The Police Supervision Agency has executed the decision of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, assigning personal security measures to three employees of the State Police, suspected of the criminal offense "Committing arbitrary actions" in cooperation and against children.

According to the court's decision, security measures have been imposed on four individuals, specifically:

Deputy Commissioner Xh. B. – Specialist and shift manager in the General Patrol Section at Police Station No. 1, Tirana.
Inspector DM – Service troop in the same section and police station.
Inspector RD – Service troop in the General Patrol Section, Commissariat No. 1, Tirana.
They are suspected that on April 12, 2025, while accompanying a minor with the initials EG, they committed unjustified actions outside the legal competences, which constitute a criminal offense.

Investigations are ongoing, while AMP emphasizes the importance of transparency and accountability in any case involving law enforcement officials.
