A road accident was registered on Friday afternoon, around 19:00, on Drilon Street in Pogradec.
According to the police announcement, a "Mitsubishi" type vehicle, driven by citizen KL, hit a pedestrian, citizen Z. D., about 73 years old, resident of Pogradec.
As a result of the collision, the elderly woman was injured and was immediately taken to the hospital, where she is out of danger for life and is receiving the necessary medical assistance.
The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further procedural actions. The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its work to clarify the circumstances and determine the causes of the accident.
