The Socialist Party held today the closing rally of the campaign in the capital, where all candidates for deputies in the district of Tirana gave a short speech in front of SP supporters.

In the center of attention was the speech of Olta Xhaçka, who was noted for her deeply laudatory tone towards Prime Minister Edi Rama, calling him the undisputed leader of progress and stability. We remind you that Rama himself saved her mandate in the last parliamentary session, despite the opinion of the Venice Commission and the Constitutional Court, which requested an in-depth review of Xhaçka's conflict of interest.

But what has attracted the most attention has been the reaction of MP Erion Braçe, who during Xhaçka's speech appeared with ironic and strange mimics, giving clear signals as if he did not fully believe his colleague's words.

The images quickly went viral on social networks, where numerous users commented on the deep contrast between Xhaçka's word and the visible skepticism on Braçe's face.

Today's rally in Tirana also marked the end of the Socialist Party's campaign for the May 11 elections, which take place in a polarized political climate and with accusations of involvement of power in the electoral process.
