"Not hate speech, but reflection", Moisiu: We still don't know

Three days before the May 11 elections, former President of the Republic, Alfred Moisiu, stressed the importance of conducting a peaceful and dignified electoral process.

"Many years have passed since we organized elections, but we are still not used to doing them properly, at least during the pre-election period ," Moisiu said in an interview with Ora News.

The former president emphasizes that elections are a major event for any nation, but should not be seen as a moment for division or hate speech.

He appeals for unity and reflection on the major problems facing the country, inviting citizens to vote responsibly for the future.

"Language must be careful, not to turn into brutality or behavior that takes us back to dark periods of the past,"  said the former Albanian head of state.
