The Ministry of the Interior has announced that the identity card distribution offices will be open on Saturday, May 10, 2025, to help citizens who have not yet withdrawn their documents.
This decision was taken by the company "IdentiTek", in order to facilitate participation in the general elections, giving every citizen the opportunity to be provided with an identity card on time.
The offices of "IdentiTek" will be open from 09:00 to 14:00 only for the process of withdrawing new cards.
According to the official announcement, in recent days there has been a significant increase in applications, mainly from citizens with expired documents, driven by the proximity to the election date.
"These measures have been taken to ensure the smooth running of the electoral process and the participation of every citizen without any obstacles," the announcement of the Ministry of the Interior states.
