Two days before the parliamentary elections, the Vice-President of the European People's Party (EPP) and Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the European Parliament, David McAllister, has expressed his support for the Democratic Party in these crucial elections.

"This Sunday's parliamentary elections in Albania mark an important day for the country, for the people, and for our shared European future," said McAllister.

In a special message, he particularly appreciated the contribution of the candidate for MP on the open list of the Democratic Party in the Tirana District, Jorida Tabaku, describing her as a steadfast partner in relations with the EPP and the European Parliament.

"Over the years, Jorida Tabaku has been a key contact for us in the European Parliament and especially in the EPP. With her work and dedication, she has built bridges and played an essential role in strengthening relations between the Democratic Party of Albania and the EPP," he stressed.

McAllister concluded his message with a call for support for Jorida Tabaku on May 11:

“Jorida has always been a real driving force for Albania’s European integration. Please make sure that on Sunday she can continue her great work.”
