When and where?

Before you leave to vote, take your identification document, passport or ID card with you.

Voting centers are open from 7 am to 7 pm.

Keep in mind that if you are in line at the polling station, it must remain open until the last waiting voter has voted.

Verify your voting center using your personal number or personal data on the Central Election Commission link or the E-Albania link.

Valid vote

For your vote to be valid, use only the + and x signs.

Vote for the party or coalition by marking an x ​​or + in the box next to the name of the party or coalition at the top of the ballot. This vote also counts as a vote for candidates on the party/coalition's closed lists.

Vote for the candidate on the open list by marking the box next to his/her name with an x ​​or +. This vote also counts as a vote for the party/coalition to which the candidate belongs.

You can vote simultaneously for both the party and one of the candidates of the same party on the open list.

Make sure that the mark is placed only in the squares of one column on the ballot paper.

Be careful!

You cannot vote for one party and the preferred candidate on another party's list. This makes the vote invalid.

Use only the x and + signs within the designated boxes. Other marks on the ballot paper, even if they do not invalidate the ballot paper, risk making your vote identifiable, violating the right to privacy.

You cannot choose more than 1 preferred candidate. If you have voted for two, the vote is counted only for the party and the closed list.

Electoral crimes

You risk 1 to 5 years in prison if you accept or offer money or gifts in exchange for your vote.

Make sure your vote is secret. Photographing your vote is punishable by 3 months to 4 years in prison.

Actions that undermine elections, such as voting through intimidation, falsification, or damage to election material, are punishable by imprisonment from 3 months to 8 years.
