Why does the Socialist Party request the extension of voting hours in Vlora

The Socialist Party in Vlora has sent an official request to the Central Election Commission to postpone voting hours tomorrow, May 11. 

According to the official letter, the Socialist Party requests that the voting process in the coastal city last until 10:00 PM, beyond the official time provided for by the Electoral Code, which is 7:00 PM, on the pretext that the third stage of the "Giro D'Italia" cycling race will also take place in the city of Vlora. 

With the development of this race, the State Police and responsible institutions have foreseen increased security measures and restrictions on road traffic, so this blockage is expected to affect voting centers.
