The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, participated today in the conference of the United Trade Unions, where during his speech he emphasized that the United Independent Trade Union of Albania, just as it has led the efforts of Albanians for freedom and democracy in the past, will continue to be at the forefront of efforts to "liberate" Albania from this government.

He harshly criticized the government, reminding them that during the election year, it ordered the arrest of the leaders of the three main opposition parties. Berisha also added that yesterday evening another opposition party leader was brutally arrested in his bar.
