The Criminal Court upholds the "prison arrest" measure for Bujar Shega

The Special Court has left in force the security measure "prison arrest" for Bujar Shega, known as the "financial brain" of Bujar Çela.

Shega has stated that he has nothing to do with the charges. He was extradited from Italy yesterday.

Bujar Shega is accused by the Criminal Court of Kosovo of drug trafficking and money laundering as part of a structured criminal group.

The 52-year-old has been sentenced to the security measure of 'prison arrest' for the criminal offenses of "Trafficking in narcotics" and "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group.
