Police officer arrested after clashing with and threatening two citizens in

AMP has arrested a police officer in Rinas in flagrante delicto.

The officer, identified as EZ, was involved in a conflict with two other citizens, whom he threatened with their lives.

"The Police Supervision Agency (Tirana Region) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer EZ, with the duty of Specialist Assistant at the Rinas Police Station, suspected of the criminal offenses of "Threat" and "Abuse of duty".

His arrest was carried out after on 04.04.2025, at around 22:00 near a parking lot in Fushë Krujë, he was involved in a physical conflict for weak motives with citizens AH and OH, threatening their lives.

"A shell casing with impacted shells and a deformed metal object similar to that of the projectile were seized at the scene. Also, from the first investigative actions, AMP has seized a Glock 17 weapon with 12 cartridges as material evidence ," the announcement states.
