At noon today, the city of Terni in Italy was plunged into pain and silence during the funeral ceremony of Ilaria Sula, a 22-year-old girl of Albanian origin, who lost her life in a macabre manner after a serious act of violence by her ex-Filipino partner.

The coffin with Ilaria's lifeless body arrived at her family's apartment earlier in the day, accompanied by relatives and friends who stood by the family during this terrible moment. The atmosphere in the neighborhood where she grew up was heavy. Many relatives, neighbors and citizens had come out to say their last goodbyes and share the pain with the family.

Painful and touching moments were recorded in front of the house, where the girl's mother could not contain her emotions, crying out with tears in her eyes:

According to Italian authorities, after the murder, the perpetrator put the girl's body in a suitcase and threw it into a ravine in an attempt to cover his tracks. He has been arrested, while investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident continue.
