Fuel prices drop in Kosovo, experts say Donald Trump's global tariffs are

Fuel prices in Kosovo have decreased a few days after the acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, signed a new decision that regulates their prices in the market.

For wholesale sales of diesel it will be 2 eurocents per liter, while for retail sales, the maximum price will be 12 eurocents per liter.

Fadil Berjani from the Oilmen's Association told Telegrafi that fuel prices today in the Kosovo market are approximately: oil 1.18 cents to 1.28 cents and gasoline 1.19 cents to 1.29 cents.

Berjani said that we haven't had such cheap prices for three years.

"Since yesterday there has been a 4 cent drop. With Trump's tariffs and the drop in oil prices on the stock exchange, it is likely that 1 liter of oil in Kosovo will be 1 euro. The price is determined by the stock exchange and the OPEC producer organization. This drop that is happening is due to President Donald Trump's global tariffs," Berjani declared.

He added that we cannot predict what prices will be like in the coming days.

Berjani emphasized that the prices of fuel in Albania are 1.89 cents for oil and 1.88 cents for gasoline, while in Serbia, oil is 1.78 cents and gasoline is 1.79 cents.

Regarding MINT's decision on the margin, Berjani said that it is a decision at the wrong time.
