After a meeting with tourism businesses in Saranda, Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa raised serious concerns about the state of the tourism infrastructure in the city.

"Tourism without drinking water! Without infrastructure, without public transport, without cultural life, with fines and threats of tax evasion and fees" - writes Zhupa, denouncing the current situation.

According to her, the wastewater plants in Saranda, built with taxpayer funds, are not functioning because the municipalities do not pay for electricity, forcing entrepreneurs to purchase temporary equipment for treating wastewater.
