The Easter holiday has increased the flow of Albanian citizens crossing the border points with Greece.

Meanwhile, the police have taken additional measures.

Figures for the last 24 hours of citizen circulation have also been published.

Kakavija PKK:

On 17.04.2025, the services of the Kakavija Border Police have processed 10700 citizens at entry - exit, of which 7740 at entry and 2960 at exit, as well as 3656 vehicles at entry - exit, of which 2796 at entry and 860 at exit. On the Albanian side, 4 counters are working at entry and 3 at exit, while on the Greek side, 2 at exit and one at entry are working.

Kapshtica:

On the eve of Easter, the flow of movement at the Kapshtica border crossing has increased significantly. Over the last 24 hours, a total of 10,478 citizens have entered and exited through this crossing.

According to official data, the largest number of travelers was registered at the entrance to Albanian territory, with 7,921 entries, while 2,557 citizens were recorded at the exit.

Authorities report that the highest flow was recorded on Thursday afternoon, while movements are expected to remain high today.
