Attack with 4 injured in Tirana, two minors in serious condition, were returning

An assassination attempt occurred on Thursday evening in Tirana, where four people were injured by gunfire, including two minors.

The target of the attackers was a G-Class Mercedes Benz vehicle, in which AS, 34 years old, KM, 19 years old, and two minors, BD, 11 years old, and MD, 17 years old, were traveling.

The 34-year-old was the driver of the G-Class and was reportedly accompanying the teenagers and the minor. It is learned that the injured were returning from the 11-year-old's birthday party.

Police are investigating a burned-out vehicle with license plate AA 040 YV, which was found in Lundë.

It is suspected that the assailants chased them on the Grand Ring Road and shot them, while the 34-year-old driver did everything he could to get away from them, not stopping after the shooting and walking all the way to Lundë, where he is said to have lost consciousness from his wounds.
