Katerina Beqo is the wife of Roan Brahimi, who was executed by gunfire on "Bajron" Street in Athens on May 9, 2024, while the couple's son was also in the car.

However, as if Roan's murder were not enough, Beqo was also suspected of being targeted for execution.

Beqo, who was carrying her minor child with her, saw with her own eyes two people in dark clothing who approached the car on a motorcycle and opened fire on her husband.

According to the investigation, the perpetrators waited for the moment when Brahimi would park to execute their plan, while Beqo and the child got out of the vehicle without serious injuries.

In her first testimony to investigators, Beqo admitted that she had never thought her husband would come to Greece, after Roan Brahimi had surprised her by coming for the Orthodox Easter holidays.

" I didn't know anything, he didn't tell me he was coming. He came on Easter Saturday. I was in the car with him, but I don't remember what happened. Then I got out of the car," the 37-year-old confessed. She also confirmed that everything had happened in front of their young son. "The child saw everything. Now he's staying with my mom, while I'm at home. I'm not feeling well at all."

32-year-old Roan Brahimi had gone to pick up Beqo and his little boy from the park when the incident occurred.

On Thursday evening, her father-in-law, Roan Brahimi's father, was shot dead and not long after his murder, a 'Mercedes-Benz G-Class' vehicle in which 4 young people, two of them minors, were traveling, was shot with a hail of bullets near Shkoza.

It is believed that the confusion arose because the vehicle used by Brahim's wife is the same as the one used by the four young men.
