The political leader of the Democratic Party for the Diaspora, Jozefina Topalli, stated today on Syri TV that the polls are won by those who pay for them, but according to her, this no longer deceives anyone.

She cited the case of the US as an example, where Kamala Harris was the winner in the polls, but the final result showed the opposite.

Topalli called on Albanians abroad not to miss the opportunity to vote and become part of the change in Albania.

"All are strategies that the political opponent chooses, but in the meantime I believe and I want to say, let me tell the Albanians living outside Albania that 2025 is your year, this is your moment, the envelope that comes to your home, the ballot that comes to your home, they have a weight, they have a voice, they have an extraordinary power to make the change that Albania needs.

So, and you have the opportunity to waste no time, to vote number 1, and to become part of a change that you will be proud of and at a certain point in your life you will say; I contributed to my nation at a moment when it was essential to take an extraordinary turn in the right direction.

Denouncing the pressures on voters by the administration, she reminded citizens that photographing votes is illegal and punishable.

" I want to tell you that if someone forces them to take pictures or videotape their vote because of pressure from family members in the administration here, they are certainly free people and would not do such a thing, but of course they should know that it is also a violation of the law and this is punishable."
