The execution of Gjovalin Prendit, the story of the assassinations that had made

A mafia assassination was recorded this evening in the village of Pllanë, Lezha, where 64-year-old Gjovalin Prendi, the father of Sidorel Prendi, otherwise known as Roan Brahimi, was shot dead.

The incident occurred near the victim's family business, near the old Milot bridge. According to sources, the perpetrators shot at Prendi, leaving him dead on the spot. So far, the circumstances and motives remain unclear, while the police are investigating possible leads to the crime.

Sources from the scene indicate that Gjovalin Prendit's bar had been targeted before. Four years ago, it was attacked twice: once with explosives and once with firearms, but fortunately without casualties.

Numerous police forces, supported by the National Security Force, Shkodra Unit, have arrived at the scene and surrounded the area. A special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor, has launched investigative actions to clarify the authorship and motive of the assassination.

The premises where the crime occurred are equipped with security cameras, which are expected to be seized to help identify the perpetrators.

Investigations continue on several leads, while the police have not yet provided information on suspects or detained persons.
