The Rapid Alert System for Food, RASFF, has raised the alarm that palm sugar contaminated with the presence of the allergen sulfur dioxide above the maximum permitted level has been sold on the Albanian market.
The announcement was made by the AKU, stating that the product was manufactured in Thailand and arrived in Albania after being imported from the Netherlands.
