Alimehmeti: I have two daughters, they are very good, but I would like to have three. Having three means I would have started earlier.

Those were the elements, no finishing school, no waiting until you enter specialization, with our situations, that every doctor goes through with us.

Garo: What was it like becoming new parents, both being doctors? Both in a difficult field, with no schedules, no time, how did you manage this?

Alimehmeti: Young women, when they have children, become more efficient. Today, in any profession, the workload is huge, the pressure is huge... We have huge time demands.

The burdens are managed if one starts by setting priorities. If family and work are the priority, the husband and wife establish balance and support each other.

Garo: I believe that when the girls arrived, it was the partner who was more withdrawn. Were you the father who helped with the housework and taking care of the girls?

Alimehmeti: Yes, definitely, in everything. She does it better in terms of the quality part, but definitely.
