The Fier Court has imposed the security measure of "prison arrest" on Melisa Hoxhallari, the 29-year-old involved in the serious incident that occurred on January 5 near the area known as "Zogu i Zi" in Fier.

The decision was made by a panel of judges composed of Judge Alfred Konomi, Prosecutor Elona Gixhari, and Lawyer Anisa Varfi.

Hoxhallari was declared wanted after the incident, where her boyfriend, Klement Beqaj, shot and wounded her husband, with whom she also had a child.

After several weeks on the run, the 29-year-old was arrested and has now been transferred to Pogradec prison.

The court has upheld the previous decision on the security measure, while investigations into the incident continue.
