A clear and strong diplomatic message has come from the German ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, who has called on the incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, to act immediately for the election of the Speaker of the Assembly and the formation of the new Government.

The request was made during a meeting held in Pristina, at a time when Kosovo continues to face institutional blockade after the elections, and international concerns about the procrastination of processes are growing.

Through a post on the Blue Sky social network, Ambassador Rohde stated:

"Thank you for the productive meeting, Prime Minister! Once again, I emphasized Germany's continuous efforts to achieve the lifting of the measures against Kosovo as soon as possible. I also emphasized the importance of the immediate election of the President of the Assembly and the formation of the new Government."
The delay in the formation of post-election institutions has aroused serious concern among international partners, especially in the EU and the US. According to diplomatic sources, Germany is increasingly frustrated with the lack of coordination in Kosovo's political scene and is demanding that party agendas not hold the country's institutional life hostage.

The postponement of the election of the President of the Assembly has blocked the formation of the new government, bringing a constitutional impasse that could negatively affect Kosovo's international relations and the European integration process.

Germany, as one of Kosovo's main supporters on the international stage, has described this delay as unacceptable, warning that without functional institutions, steps for lifting measures, including sanctions imposed by the European Union, cannot be expected.

For his part, the incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti used the meeting to congratulate Ambassador Rohde on the successful completion of the governing coalition in Germany, emphasizing the importance of German support for Kosovo. However, Kurti did not give any concrete commitment on the steps that will be taken to unblock the current situation.
