For three days, Kosovo has been the target of cyberattacks, suspected to be coming from hacker groups of Russian origin.

This was announced by cybersecurity researcher Halil Berisha in a Facebook post. He writes that these attacks are directly related to Kosovo's political stance towards the war in Ukraine.

"The reason for this is the military support that Kosovo provides to Ukraine," Berisha said.

The attacks have hit a number of state institutions and organizations, including the Prime Minister's official website, ministries, Pristina Airport, and other important public platforms.

"These Russian groups are preparing for a new wave of attacks, which could also include companies, so preparations must begin for protection by every institution, agency, company and organization," he warns.

Despite this great pressure, Kosovo institutions have reacted quickly and efficiently.

However, he emphasizes that there is still room for improvement, especially in preventing future attacks.

According to him, the danger has not passed yet, as other groups are organizing to launch a new wave of attacks.
