Democratic Party candidate for deputy, Jorida Tabaku, met with citizens and representatives of small businesses in the Dry Lake area. The focus of the conversation was the difficult economic situation that Albanians and businesses are experiencing.

During the meetings, Tabaku heard citizens' concerns about declining consumption and facing ever-higher prices. Businesses, on the other hand, raised the alarm about increased taxes and unaffordable costs.

"You get up in the morning, bring products from Kashari and pay more for oil, oil has 50% taxes. Products come here 50% more expensive. Everything is more expensive, consumption falls and taxes increase."

She emphasized that the problem lies in the economic model followed by the socialist majority, which according to her has led to a deep economic crisis and unbearable pressure on Albanian families.

"After 12 years of socialist governance, Albanians have seen nothing but poverty, economic crisis and heavy fiscal burden. This is the reality that every family and every business lives with," said Tabaku.
