The candidate for MP on the Democratic Party's open list, Dhurata Çupi, was asked whether there is an internal struggle within this political force for votes.

Invited to Klan News, Çupi stated that she has never been characterized by excessive or immoral ambition, while adding that she does not see any resentment or strong competition within the DP.

According to her, the Socialist Party is facing a strong battle within its ranks, and this is because people who have power and are involved in affairs are running.

"I have never been characterized by this tendency, ambition is a kind of morality, and I have not had a focus in life. But, I do not see that in the DP and in the 37 team, there is this anger or strong competition. We are focused on the DP vote, but the code determines that the DP vote does not go only to you, but the vote also goes to the DP, and as a result, either they alternate or the vote goes in your name.

So, in a way, this electoral code personalizes the campaign. It is true that there is a strong battle in the SP, I use that expression "heads eat each other", because there are ministers there who definitely have power, they have deputies with many years of experience. Let's be honest, and let's not hide, we have a 12-year government, most of whom are accused of corruption and affairs with the state budget or with Albanian taxes. And a party that is certainly in international relations, is denounced as a party that distorts the election result, whether through purchases or illegal forms, on the other hand you have an opposition, in 12 years of opposition.

"You have 37 candidates, each of whom is a purer figure than the other, in the sense that they have not consumed power, and they will simply ask for his vote. So, if I go and ask for the vote of the citizen, I am not even a tainted, rumored, corrupt figure. So, I am a citizen of this country who has served every position with honesty and integrity, and I ask for your vote, to implement the program of my party, for the good, as we think, for the good of the citizen," said the MP.
