Names/ Two people extradited from Germany and Italy

Two Albanian citizens have been extradited to Albania as a result of cooperation with international authorities.

Flavio Merkuri, 18, has been extradited from Germany, while Ilia Ndoka, 50, has been extradited from Italy.

These extraditions were carried out following work by the Interpol Directorate, in collaboration with foreign counterparts, to capture and extradite wanted citizens.

As a result of cooperation with counterparts, two wanted individuals were captured and extradited to Albania.

An 18-year-old man, sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison, is extradited from Germany.

A 50-year-old man is extradited from Italy after the GJKKO has imposed the security measure "Arrest in Prison" on him

1-Following the cooperation with the homologous structures in the German Police, for the localization, capture and extradition of citizens on international wanted list, under the direction of the Interpol Directorate, procedures were carried out for the extradition to Albania of citizen FM, 18 years old, resident of Tirana.

This citizen was declared an international wanted person after the Tirana Court sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Theft by force", attempted, committed in collaboration.

The 18-year-old, in collaboration with his brother and 2 other citizens (all minors), attempted to steal a large amount of money from a minor citizen on the street, threatening him with a knife.

2-Also, as a result of cooperation with Interpol Rome, for the localization, capture and extradition of internationally wanted citizens, under the direction of the Interpol Directorate, the Albanian citizen IN, 50 years old, was extradited from Italy.

This citizen has been declared internationally wanted after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed in the form of a structured criminal group, "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization".
