Who is Ilia Ndoka, the member of the former SP MP's gang?

Ilia Ndoka, the 50-year-old who was extradited from Italy today, is a member of the gang of former Socialist Party MP Arben Ndoka.

The 50-year-old was arrested in Italy as part of the SPAK mega-operation, which targeted 7 criminal groups, including the group of former Socialist MP Arben Ndoka.

Ilia Ndoka has been declared internationally wanted after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed in the form of a structured criminal group, "Structured criminal group" and "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization".

Ndoka was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by SPAK, as part of the operation codenamed "Revanshi".

He is accused of having helped his cousin, former Socialist MP Arben Ndoka, with money and information in his efforts to identify and punish the perpetrators of the murder of the latter's brother, Aleksandër Ndoka.

According to the investigations, Ilia Ndoka had also entered into agreements with criminal groups known as "Avdylajt" in Shijak, Ervis Martinajt's group, Shullazit's group, as well as with other persons involved in criminal activities.
