Chicken with salmonella, SP MP gives ridiculous excuse: It happens everywhere

Socialist Party MP Milva Ekonomi tried to justify the failure of Albanian institutions, which are tasked with protecting consumers, as she spoke about the discovery of a shipment of chicken meat with salmonella, which came from Brazil to Albania. 

Invited to A2 CNN, she gave a ridiculous justification for the event, saying that such events happen in other countries, not just in Albania. 

"I believe that these cases are not cases that you don't see in other countries. They are cases that you see in Albania and in other countries ," Ekonomi replied, but emphasizing that " what is important is how market supervision will react " in such cases.

According to the former minister, local authorities should strengthen the food surveillance system and this procedure will be further facilitated with the assistance of the European Union.
