Berisha in Baldushk: Agriculture suffered a real setback in these years, the

The Chairman of the DP, Sali Berisha, during a conversation with residents in Baldushk, presented a broad program to support agriculture and improve living conditions for farmers and citizens. Berisha emphasized the need to increase subsidies for farmers, to increase production and investments in agricultural infrastructure, including processing of products and improving agricultural services. The Chairman of the DP also promised to increase pensions for pensioners of agricultural cooperatives to 200 euros and to increase the minimum wage to 500 euros.

Berisha : First, I greet you very warmly and express my greatest respect for each of you, for Albanian farmers wherever they are, men, women, young people, who with their sweat and effort, in difficult conditions, make a living. Not only do they make a living, but they make a very valuable contribution to the life of the country as a whole.
About 500 thousand Albanians are employed in the rural area and this area provides about 19% of the country's total production.
In this regard, no sector is more important than the agricultural sector in Albania.
In addition, it is true that Albania has little land, this is well known. But Albania has little land if we take into account the plain, the coastal lowland and the plain. But if we take into account that the land of Albania in its entire territory is a very fertile land, it is a land completely full of water, it is a land that produces and only ignoring it has caused endless land surfaces to emerge.
There is no more fertile land than the land of this country.
Therefore, for us, the Agriculture sector and Agriculture. As you can see, this government has completely forgotten the word agriculture, because it does not mention it at all, it is a very big priority.
Agriculture during these years suffered a real turnaround. Its turnaround came because, instead of increasing subsidies for farmers from year to year. Every country, which thinks and wants to develop agriculture, without exception, every country, subsidizes the farmer, protects the farmer, gives him the opportunity to succeed in his work.

But this did not happen.
