MEP Fredi Beleri reacts, one day after the Special Court ordered SPAK to investigate the criminal complaint he filed against former minister Olta Xhaçka and her husband , former socialist MP Artan Gaçi.

Speaking on A2 CNN, Beleri made strong accusations against the judiciary and SPAK, which he said is controlled by politics and operates with double standards. He also accuses the Socialist Party, which he says is stealing properties on the coast.

" I have not filed a political accusation, I have sent evidence from the court of first instance and the GJKKO to the court. I do not take any political responsibility. Whatever the decision of the GJKKO and SPAK is, for me it is proven that the ruling party is stealing property in Himara. Why did the Bonjaku family not register the property for 30 years and as soon as Gaçi took it, it was registered. The court is political, because it is now hitting a clan opposing Mrs. Xhaçka, who wants to take away her mandate. Why now? Someone has to hit her politically and it is not me. I filed the complaint two years ago. After this, the candidates on the open list of the SP are hidden. Spak is caught and is only political."

According to him, what implicates Mrs. Xhaçka is the fact that she signed, in her capacity as a member of the Council of Ministers, the status of strategic investor for her husband, Mr. Artan Gaçi.

"For the case in question, the mayor and two officials have been convicted, one from the Himara Municipality and one from the mortgage in Vlora. There is a decision of the GJKKO, this is a criminal offense for forgery, the beneficiary of the forgery is Olta Xhaçka's husband. How is it possible that he was not part of a process. As a complainant, the decision came to me that only 3 people were brought to trial and I asked the court to explain to me what happened and Mrs. Xhaçka benefited as Artan Gaçi's wife from the forged property.

Xhaçka was a member of the Council of Ministers when she signed the strategic investor status for her husband. Before I filed a complaint, the Bonjaku family from Dhërmi had taken this property to court, they had been trying to register it for 30 years, and as soon as they made a sales contract, the property was registered as if by magic. Someone intervened, the judge said that the minister intervened. The decision describes how the minister is implicated.

Beleri says that he made this evidence available two years ago, but prosecutor Olsi Dado did not take it into account. According to him, the fact that it is being taken now shows that someone from within the Socialist Party will attack MP Xhaçka, but it also proves, he emphasizes, that property on the coast is being stolen.
